SHNJUKU 12SOKUMANOJINJA shrine is the main shrine of the Shinjuku area, including Nishi-Shinjuku, the area around Shinjuku Station and Kabuki-cho. The origins of the shrine reach back to the 15 century during the Muromachi period. The gods enshrined here have been cherished for generations for their power in assisting with commercial success, marriage and domestic safety, and they have a great many believers.
