See the Innovative New Project this Fixture Maker has Taken On!
Thu, February 28, 2019 - Tue, March 26, 2019
Sakamoto Co., Ltd. Is a fixture maker in Hanou City, Saitama that created the Hitotsubo (1 tsubo - 3.36 square meter) Cabin Series, a tsubo-sized space that embraces the warmth of wooden interiors. This was the result of the fixture maker looking for a new way to present their products. In 2017, the Hitotsubo Food Stall and the Hitotsubo Tea Room became more popular, with the Hitotsubo Tea Room winning a Cool Japan Award. Last year, this series won the Wood Design Award. During the exhibition, ideas on how to use this series will be accepted, with the people with the best ideas being allowed to go inside the spaces.
