See Beautiful Earthenware Pots at the Ginpo Exhibit

See traditional Japanese cooking tools at this wonderful exhibit! Yokkaichi Banko ware pottery has been designated as a traditional cultural property of Yokkaichi City in Mie Prefecture. It’s known for its heat-resistant properties, and is said to make up 80% of the earthenware pots in Japan. Of all of the makers, Ginpo is considered to be the best. Most Japanese people have heard of this maker. This exhibit will feature Blissio, a line of earthenware pots from Gimpo that started in 1932 with the purpose of being used every day.

- Thursday, October 4th to Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 from 10:30AM-7:00PM. The gallery is closed on Wednesdays. The gallery will close at 5:00PM on the final day.
