Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden was the former residence of Lord Naito, one of the vassals of Tokugawa Ieyasu, and was completed in 1906. Although it was created as an imperial garden, after the war it was opened to the public. Cherry blossoms are in bloom from late March to late April, with many species, including somei yoshino and yae zakura, on-site.

- Wednesday, March 25th to Friday, April 24th, 2020, 9:00AM-6:00PM. Last admission to the park is at 5:30PM.
General admission is 500 yen, Seniors (65+) and students (university, vocational school, high school) are 250 yen. Children junior high school age and younger are free.
