Milk – The First Fresh Cream Specialty Shop in Japan

The next stop on our tour is on the first floor of Lumine Est, a shopping complex directly accessible from JR Shinjuku Station’s East Exit. You’re sure to spot Milk’s blue and white stripes right away! Milk makes all of their desserts with fresh cream, an ingredient that has a richer, milkier taste than regular cream.

The picture above is of the Milky Soft Parfait (700 yen), which includes tapioca pearls, homemade milk pudding, milky soft-serve ice cream and fresh cream. It’s rare to have the chance to try all four delicious ingredients in one adorable dessert – you’re sure to love it!

Milk also has drinks with fresh cream. This time we chose the Fresh Cream Shake (600 yen). It was quite rich, yet still smooth enough to drink easily. The shake also included tapioca pearls, which added an interesting element.
